2008 Dodge for a Cause Results

Dodge for a Cause 2008, Perceptive Software’s third annual charity dodgeball tournament hosted at the company’s National Amateur Dodgeball Association (NADA)-approved court, generated $18,550 for the Kansas City chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Sixty-four teams and more than 500 participants squared off March 29-30 and April 5-6 for a shot at dodgeball glory.

After more than 200 games of dodgeball, Canoni Seis was crowned the 2008 Dodge for a Cause Champions. As tournament champions, the team receives an automatic bid into the 2008 NADA Outdoor National Tournament hosted in Schaumburg, Ill., on July 19, eight roundtrip airfare vouchers courtesy of Southwest Airlines and $1,000 for the trip.

2007 Dodge for a Cause Results

Sixty-four teams and more than 500 participants played in the second annual Dodge for a Cause charity dodgeball tournament, hosted by Perceptive Software at the company’s NADA-approved dodgeball court. The 2007 tournament raised $17,879 for the Kansas City chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

The 2006 Dodge for a Cause champions, The Klown Punchers, defended their title and were crowned 2007 Dodge for a Cause champions. The back-to-back champions returned to the NADA Outdoor National Championships and placed fifth in the 2007 tournament. In addition to the NADA automatic bid, the Klown Punchers also received free roundtrip airfare courtesy of Southwest Airlines and $1,000 for the trip.

2006 Dodge for a Cause Results

Dodge. Duck. Donate. The first annual Dodge for a Cause charity dodgeball tournament, hosted by Perceptive Software, was a big hit. More than 500 tournament players and volunteers helped raise $11,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Union Broadcasting Foundation.

The 2006 Dodge for a Cause tournament champions, The Klown Punchers, finished fourth at the 2006 National Amateur Dodgeball Association Outdoor Nationals.
